Grabs pipe nipples from the inside when you cannot use a pipe wrench or pliers on the outside. Unlike older "cam" style wrenches which don't grip the nipple evenly, this wrench maintains equal pressure inside the nipple. This makes removing corroded nipples easier with less chance of damage to the nipple or tool. Also available in 3/4" and 1" sizes.
